Michele Rollins, public affairs operations chief at Air Force Global Strike Command, says there are a lot of submissions still coming and she encourages people to continue to turn in those thoughtful forms before the May 6, deadline.

"We appreciate the residents of southern New Mexico for all the support they've given the base," said U.S. Air Force Capt. Michele Rollins, 49th Wing Public Affairs chief. "Not only does the community directly support our war fighters here, but also those who are overseas defending our freedoms first-hand."
